Certification information

ISSPCS offers four certification levels:

You can apply for certification as either:

  • Exam candidate - where you gain certification by sitting an exam; or
  • Grandfathering scheme - that lets suitably qualified professionals may apply for ISSPCS Practitioner certification. This approach acknowledge current qualifications and work experience and is ideal for candidates with existing information security qualifications and experience.

ISSPCS certifications are valid for 3 years during which you must accumulate activity points (by attending courses, publishing papers, etc.) to ensure your information security skills remain current.

All ISSPCS applicants must also re-certify every 3 years.

All ISSPCS candidates must uphold the ISSPCS Code of Ethics.
